1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Notts Cleaning Services Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to the client (“you”). By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Services We Offer
We provide a range of services including, but not limited to:
End of tenancy cleaning
One-off and regular residential cleaning
Deep cleaning and post-construction cleaning
Garden tidies and external cleans
Waste removal (non-hazardous)
Minor property repairs and maintenance
The exact scope of work will be confirmed prior to the start of each job and summarised in your booking confirmation or invoice.
3. Bookings and Availability
Bookings can be made via phone, email, WhatsApp, or our website.
Appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us.
We reserve the right to decline a booking request at our discretion.
4. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are provided based on the information given at the time of enquiry. We reserve the right to amend pricing if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen conditions arise.
We do not offer fixed pricing without a discussion of your specific requirements. Quotes are tailored to the property and the services needed.
5. Access to Property
It is your responsibility to ensure we have appropriate access to the property at the agreed time.
If keys are to be collected from a third party (e.g. letting agent), arrangements must be made in advance.
If we are unable to gain access, a call-out fee may apply.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee of up to 50% of the quoted price.
If we are unable to carry out the service due to issues beyond our control (e.g. lack of access, unsafe conditions), a minimum call-out fee of £25 may be charged.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
We aim to provide a high standard of service at all times. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of the service being completed and we will return to rectify the issue where appropriate.
8. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate details about the property and the condition
Make sure running water, electricity, and waste disposal are available on-site
Secure valuables and fragile items before we begin
Inform us of any known issues (e.g. structural damage, infestations, hazards)
9. Insurance and Liability
We carry full public liability insurance.
We are not liable for any pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or poor property condition.
While we take great care, we cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by the use of products requested or supplied by the client.
10. Waste Removal
We can remove small amounts of non-hazardous waste as part of a clean or garden tidy.
Large-scale waste removal or hazardous material disposal is not included unless agreed in writing beforehand.
11. Minor Repairs
We may offer basic property repairs (e.g. re-fixing loose fittings, filling small holes, or touch-ups) as part of a service package.
These are minor works and not intended to replace professional trades unless otherwise stated.
12. Payment Terms
Invoices are issued upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, card payment, or other agreed options.
Late payments may incur interest or administrative fees as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
13. Complaints
If you have a complaint about our service, please contact us in writing at info@notts-cleaningservices.com within 10 working days of the service date. We will respond within a reasonable time and aim to resolve any issues promptly.
14. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on our website or provided to you directly upon request.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
